Estee Lauder Double Wear Cushion Stick Foundation ♡

The Estee Lauder Cushion Stick Foundation has been on my wish list for a while now. I have been hearing so much buzz about this product so I had to try it! First off, I think that the packaging of this product is super nice and it looks durable for traveling. The bottle has a little sponge tip and you twist the product for the foundation to come out. When applying I dotted the sponge tip right onto my face so I could later blend it out with my beauty blender. The foundation easily transferred onto my face from the sponge (but let me say a little goes a long way). This product is SO easy to blend with a brush or a beauty blender! It glides across your face and has a velvet dewy finish. I am so impressed with the turn out. The one thing that I noticed though is if you have oily areas I think that a setting powder or spray is essential. By my first impression, I don't think that this product would stay all day just by itself (this is the case with many foundations though). I just dusted a Mac translucent powder around my t-zone and I had no problems with the foundation lasting all day. I think this is a quality product and I would highly recommend it!

Let me know if you have tried this foundation before!

    1. Thank you so much Joyce for sharing your thoughts!! Yeah I like this foundation but it’s not my absolute favorite. Have you tried maybe using a primer first? Sometimes when that happens to me a primer fixes the problem!

      1. At this price point, it should work by itself? To me, if a foundation only works if used with primer, it is a fail. Just mega disappointed, especially after seeing many good reviews. Tried with different primers, still won’t do. Powder kept it on longer but lost the glow completely.

  1. Ive never really been interested in trying out stick foundations but really I should as it would be good to see what they are like… I have wanted to try out just the normal double wear foundation for aaaages tho! Thanks for sharing 🙂
